Second Sunday in Lent

Masses 16th-17th March:  Saturday Vigil 6pm; Sunday 10am and 6pm; 12 noon (at Sedbergh)

‘READING LUKE IN LENT’ You’re welcome to join us every Thursday in the parish centre to do this but also if you’d like to read or listen to it from home you can visit https://soundcloud.com/catholicchurch/sets/reading-luke-in-lent where you can listen to daily readings from St Luke covering the Gospel from start to finish. Through St Luke’s eyes we follow Jesus from the very beginnings to his passion and death. Luke’s Gospel contains accounts of some of the memorable events in the life of Jesus and from these St Luke’s Gospel can be seen as one of compassion & mercy.

LENT PREPARATION: Two books I am enjoying so far: ‘A cry is heard’ by Jean Vanier and ‘The Way of Ignatius’, a journey through Lent, by Gemma Simmonds.
