From time to time, we all bump into the truth about ourselves that there is a gap between what we say, and what we do, between what we profess to be, and how we actually behave. And how often, we notice this inconsistency more easily in others. In our Gospel reading, Christ’s description of his audience, that day in Galilee, is unfortunately as true today, as it was then. His message of salvation has been preached to a great part of the world’s population, but the proportion of those who accept it and live up to it, is the same today as it was then…..
